Dr. Cindy:

Hello – my name is Dr. Cindy Becker and welcome to my office.  If a friend or family member referred you to our practice, you already know that my goal is to create a unique health care experience for our patients.  Within our office, you become a part of our chiropractic family.  Our office is committed to welcoming you into an environment of compassion and support – we will do all we can to help you meet your health care goals.

I was fortunate as a child – I was raised with chiropractic as a regular part of my health care.  I didn’t connect chiropractic with symptoms or pain.  I simply saw how chiropractic helped me be a healthier person, and live the life I wanted.

More than twenty years ago, my husband John and I came to Mendota to begin the next chapter of our lives.  We chose this community as a place we could call home and raise our family.  I opened my practice in August, 1991, with a vision of providing wellness care for families.  My dream was to care for pregnant moms, children, and parents – unlocking the full potential in patients at all stages of life.

One day, a mom walked into my office, with her son – a 3 year old boy who was non-verbal and prone to emotional outbursts.  She came looking for help.  Her son screamed and cried through his entire first visit and didn’t want to be touched.  Mom patiently worked to soothe her son and help him through his appointment.  This mom saw the beautiful potential locked inside of her child – and within months, they were sharing jokes and having little chats that weren’t possible before.  These miracles keep our office on purpose and motivated to share chiropractic with as many people as possible.

In my years of practice, I see how unhealthy people are, especially children, and that inspires me to reach out to more families through chiropractic.  As a society, we are taught to look for health and wellness from outside sources, not from within ourselves.  This has created a society filled with chronic illness, obesity, sadness, dependence on medication, and skyrocketing health care expenses.  There are so many people struggling to find the answers to their lack of health – I welcome the opportunity to work with anyone who wants help, who feels as though they have slipped through the cracks, and doesn’t want to give up on themselves or their children.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family and welcoming you into mine.
